You always makes me think. This cuts deep. Forever made myself small for fear of seeming 'loud' or over confident (when in truth, in my younger years,I felt small).

The real me is 'different' I know this. I can be 'unusual'. But I know I'm vibrant, creative, humorous, supportive, a bit 'out there' and I don't hurt anybody. You know what my boss says to me when he leaves me with guests/clients? 'be normal'. Everyone thinks he's joking, we both know he's not.

Thank you for this blog. Im gunna take 'be normal' and throw it off the roof. Then I'm gunna embrace me, be proud to be me and f<{%!ng shine!

Another person’s opinion is just somebody’s else’s perception of a situation that might be true but very often is proved to be untrue. I don’t know you Noel but I feel for sorry for anyone who has their livelihood taken away from them due to false allegations. Stay true to your self bro. 👌

Love this Noel. Obviously not the things that have happened and have meant that you need to put this out here, just that you have the grace to wait things out until that day in court.

I particularly love what you say about the fact that how other people feel is on them and not to tip toe around them. I've had years of being told I'm a snob, or a bitch, or arrogant or moody or whatever. And over the years I've let it dull my shine. That's on me though I guess.

Anyway, thank you for sharing another awesome piece. Love to the fam

I have to be honest and tell you that I had to look you up on line as I'm not familiar with your work. However, it seems you are a very talented and driven guy, you dont get where you are without distrubing the apple cart and bringing the rotten fruit to the top. Scum rises I think the saying is.

It seems we Brits have an odd culture of putting people on pedestals, then as soon as they are on top of it we do our best to drag them down again. What I find odd about all these allegations, is the fact they only surfaced when you got yourself on the pedestal, why wait until then if you really were that guy?

This article is raw and telling. You have faced some of the worst life can throw at you, and to be fair, some of the best.

However, when I see mud flinging to this degree, I nearly always look towards those with the mud on their hands.

Since the explosion of the Internet, media sources have become murky bottom feeders, desperate for their advertising clicks. It seems they will now publish anything with even just a hint of truth. So long as it is salacious enough to get the ever eager crowds, who are akin to those attending executions in the dark days of our history drooling and more importantly clicking.

Nine times out of ten they will "publish and be dammed", because they know the only way to stand up to them is to bankrupt ourselves whilst paying for another lawers holiday home in the sun. They have bottomless pockets, and don't forget the clicks they get reporting on the trial. Win win!

I recall a BBC play for today (I think) many years ago entitled. "The year of the sex olympics". As a teenager the title of course caught my eye, luckily my parents were out allowing me unfettered viewing.

This though was much deeper than I thought, my tissues were not needed! It turned to be a deep, thought provoking play which left me with a lifelong mistrust of the media. The writer showed me how they controlled what we saw and how easily we were controlled by the so called elitists. Thinking back, it was also probably a look into the future of TV and the plethora of reality shows we are now drip fed.

I know this is well off the thread of your article, what I am trying to say, albeit clumsily, is that the media has had their day, you will have yours at some point in the future. Remember the news people have not a shred of dignity, yours shines through.

Good luck for the future, keep writing and creating it is a talent that should not be wasted.
